Is the Price Right?

Sunday 10th October 2021

I'm going to have to trust a used car salesman.

I'm slightly uneasy with that prospect, although I don't know whether my fears are still justified these days. Traditionally the used car forecourt has been the setting for haggling, but some dealers now say they won't haggle: the price you see is what you pay.

I can see how that benefits the dealer. And how do they set the price anyway? It always seems to be higher than any of the price guides I've seen. The dealers talk about warranty, but the "used car price from a dealer" would always include an element of warranty anyway.

The issue is one of trust. And the lack of transparency over pricing doesn't help.

The same is true when selecting an outsource partner to manage your print projects. Can you trust them with your data, your livelihood, your reputation? And how do they set the price anyway?

I can help you with the last one. With us you have experienced estimators using the latest artificial intelligence MIS system which checks millions of algorithms against our competitors giving you the best price possible in the marketplace.

I can't make you trust us, but I can be open and transparent about what we do, how we do it and what we charge. If you have questions you'd like answered, get in touch.

In the meantime watch this video below from 1984, its a classic!! "Ullo John Gotta New Motor"
