So yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to hear Deborah Meaden from Dragon's Den speak. Out of all the Dragons, Deborah was the one I was most keen to hear from, and she did not disappoint. She shared invaluable insights into her career and the philosophy that has driven her success.
Jeffrey Archer
Yesterday I met Lord Jeffrey Archer who is an English novelist, former politician, and peer of the realm. "When I was three, I wanted to be four. When I was four, I wanted to be prime minister.” Before becoming an author, Archer was a Member of Parliament (1969–1974), but did not seek re-election after a financial scandal that left him almost bankrupt and 400k out of pocket after a disastrous investment.
Whats Wrong?
It seems the only thing more enjoyable than a brilliant, uplifting, inspirational marketing success is a horrible, embarrassing, cringe-worthy marketing blunder – like the one below: WHAT’S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?
